If “Valdichiana Living” means living a territory, “Valdichiana Eating” means eating it. Valdichiana Eating is a project designed to develop the short food supply chains, local wine and food specialties, as well as the quality certifications of Val di Chiana Senese. The basic idea of Valdichiana Eating focuses on the construction of a network of producers and restaurant owners who are proud to promote, each day, the wine and food heritage of the Tuscan territory to which they belong.
AIMS
To promote the quality, as well as wine-and-food typicality of Val di Chiana Senese at a regional, national, and European audience
To enhance the network between producers and restaurant owners, who are required to actively participate in the development of promotion and marketing activities for the local products
To raise public awareness on the issue of short food supply chain, as well as on the positive effects it has at an environmental and economic level
To enable consumers to pursue a healthier diet and a better quality of life by choosing local produce
